Warehouse Project issues warning over strong “blue punisher” pills in circulation

The Warehouse Project has issued a warning about “blue punisher” pills in circulation over the weekend. 

The Manchester promoter, currently based out of Depot Mayfield, shared the notice on Twitter on 8th October, saying the tablets have “strong effects.” They then posted a site map noting where medical and welfare areas are. “They offer a non-judgemental and safe space if you need help,” the team said.

The Manchester Evening News reports the warning is part of the Mandrake, or Manchester Drug Analysis and Knowledge Exchange scheme with the Home Office. Drugs confiscated at participating venues and promoters are tested, and necessary warnings about the substances in circulation are then shared.

UK drug-testing charity The Loop, which was not invited to work with Warehouse Project on this occasion, has recently shared warnings about pills found in circulation at Parklife and Secret Garden Party. Creamfields also issued a warning of its own this August.
