SHERELLE, Daniel Avery, TAAHLIAH, more remix English Teacher’s ‘This Could Be Texas’ 

English Teacher have announced a new remix album, inviting a wide range of artists to reimagine tracks from their Mercury Prize-winning LP, ‘This Could Be Texas’.

Landing this Friday 10th October, the Leeds and Lancashire indie-rock outfit have tapped the likes of SHERELLE, Daniel Avery, Max Cooper, TAAHLIAH and Water From Your Eyes to rework their songs. Irish band Fontaines D.C. will also serve up their debut remix under the name FDC DJs.

Also on the tracklist are remixes from Bug Teeth, Lewis Whiting,  Baxter Dury, Working Men’s Club, Matt Maltese, Silver Gore, and Blossom Calderone. See the full tracklist below. 

SHERELLE recently released her own remix album, ‘WAV Reloaded’, featuring new versions of tracks from her debut LP, ‘With A Vengeance’, including ‘Kibo’s Bleep Test’.

Later this month, Daniel Avery will release his first album since signing to Domino Records, ‘Tremor’. 

Also this week, PinkPantheress will release ‘Fancy Some More?’, a suite of remixes of tracks from her recent mixtape, ‘Fancy That’ featuring Nia Archives, Basement Jaxx, Kaytranada and more.
