Kathy Burke has had her say on a viral clip showing two people dressed up as Kevin and Perry at Hardwick Live.

The County Durham event took place this past weekend, and the clip showing two people cosplaying as the ’90s sitcom and film characters, of whom Burke played Perry, has since amassed more than 10,000 retweets and 70,000 likes at the time of writing.

Quote-tweeting the original clip, Burke wrote on her Twitter page: “If I wasn’t so much older and wider I’d swear this was me! Lovely stuff.”

Mimicking Burke and Harry Enfield’s original characters to an impressive degree, the pair can even be seen capturing Kevin and Perry’s unique dance moves, as seen in the 2000 film ‘Kevin & Perry Go Large’.

Last year marked the film’s 20th anniversary and a special screening and party had been due to take place at Amnesia Ibiza to mark the occasion, but it was unfortunately cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
