Dutch independent radio stations announce 15-hour broadcast for Palestine
10 independent Dutch radio stations are coming together for a 15-hour fundraising broadcast in support of Palestine later this month.
Scheduled for Saturday, 28th September, the broadcast will run from 10am until 1am local time. ‘Transmission For Palestine’ will be broadcast across Radio Radio, Echobox, Folder FM, Pip Radio, Future Intel, Operator, Maxi Radio, Radio Hinter, Open Source Radio and Relate Radio.
The broadcast will comprise of an online livestream, an in-person free event at Radio Radio featuring live music, food and drinks, and a raffle. Prizes from the raffle include club tickets, gift cards, merch and records.
All proceeds from the broadcast and Radio Radio event will go to Plant een Olijfboom, a Netherlands-based charity which works to provide Palestinians with essential items like food, water, medicine and clothes.

Earlier this week, it was announced that Portishead would record a rare live performance of their track ‘Roads’ to be shown at the Together For Palestine benefit event at Wembley Arena. They are among a number of newly announced names confirmed for the 17th September event, which has been organised to raise millions of pounds for Gaza and express solidarity with the people of Palestine.
