News
UK turntablist JFB has been crowned the winner of DMC’s World Championship for 2021.
JFB has been competing in DMC competitions for around 10 years, but this was his first World title win. He also teamed up with DJ Angelo, as The BREXecutioners, to take home the 2021 DMC World DJ Team Championship title, and was crowned the DMC World Beat Juggling Champion when he won his first ever DMC title this past summer.
The DJ had previously finished as runner-up in the 2020 World Championship, and had decided to give it one last shot in 2021. You can watch his winning routine below.
Other battles at this year’s DMC World DJ Championship saw Japan’s Yukichi win the first ever DMC World All Vinyl DJ Championship, while DJ DELightfull won the first ever DMC World Foundation Championship and became the first DJ from Bulgaria to earn a DMC World title in the process.
Belgium’s Swordz won the first ever DMC World Scratch Champion, and was also crowned the winner of the World Portablist category, which saw him take part in a scratch battle on a portable turntable with 7″ records.
