MPH shares remix of Calvin Harris’ ‘I’m Not Alone’: Listen
MPH’s remix of Calvin Harris’ 2009 classic single ‘I’m Not Alone’ has been given an official release.
The rework puts a UK garage spin on the original cut, retaining the iconic euphoric trance stabs and vocal hook of Harris’ track and placing them alongside shuffling, bass-heavy drums.
Speaking about how the release came about, MPH said: “It started as a bootleg just for my sets but I sent it to Chris Lake and he forwarded it to Calvin; an hour later I got the stems. Hearing each individual part was so crazy.
“I’ve always been obsessed with the original, and wanted to do a flip with my favourite sections of the original – this one always pops off in my sets.”
He also played the track in his set from DJ Mag HQ, recorded last month. You can relive the high-energy stream below.
Calvin Harris is currently hosting a summer residency at Ushuaïa Ibiza, featuring guests such as Fatboy Slim and Patrick Topping.
