Surusinghe announces new EP on dh2, shares ‘FTRW!’: Listen

Surusinghe is releasing an EP on dh2, the electronic sub-label of independent music imprint Dirty Hit.

Spanning four tracks, ‘i can’t remember the name of this, but that’s ok’ features guest contributions from Cameo Blush, Kassie Krut and Rhyw. Setting its sights firmly on the dancefloor, the EP explores techno, broken UK club rhythms and chopped-up vocal samples.

The release of ‘i can’t remember the name of this, but that’s ok’ on 20th June comes amid a busy summer of festival and club appearances for Surusinghe, which will include sets at Glastonbury, GALA, Parklife and Dekmantel.

The new EP builds on past Surusinghe releases for labels such as AD 93 and Steel City Dance Discs.

In December, she launched a new party series and blog, called Drifting.
