Premiere: Felix Raphael ‘Close (Enamour Remix)’

Enamour will release a remix of Felix Raphael & Fabian Sprungk’s ‘Close’ later this week. Listen exclusively to the edit below.

Landing 1st December via Berlin label YION, the remix rounds out another dexterous year of releases for the LA-based DJ and producer, which included cuts for Rose Avenue Records, Armada, and Factory 93. Maintaining the melodic techno thrust of these previous releases and remixes, Enamour’s refit of Raphael and Sprungk’s ‘Close’ wraps tactile percussion and cavernous trance chords in a blanket of buoyant synths, earning kudos from scene-shaping names including Rüfüs du Sol, Einmusik and Cassian.

Speaking on the release, Enamour said: “When Felix asked me to remix a track from his label, I dove into the catalogue and discovered ‘Close’, which stood out to me with its dark and brooding vocal. I envisioned giving it a tougher melodic techno makeover, perfect for those peak-time moments. Happy to report it’s been a highlight of every set I’ve played over the summer.”

Enamour is set to perform at London’s Electric Brixton this Saturday (2nd December). Tickets are available here.

Pre-order the EP here, and listen exclusively to ‘Close (Enamour Remix)’ below.
