Regal86 shares new seven-track release, ‘Overdrive’: Listen

Regal86 has revealed a new seven-track project, ‘Overdrive’, via Bandcamp.

The Monterrey, Mexico-based DJ and producer is renowned for his varied and eclectic productions that can take in brutal jungle, low-slung rap, techno, footwork, gabber, house and much more. On this new eight-tracker, however, he sticks largely to a driving, sun-bleached techno sound, folding in moments of broken beat, deeply warming grooves and melodies.

Last year, Regal86 released several projects, including the ‘Stereographs’ LP, the 100-track mammoth ‘Unearthed Vol. II’ project, and ‘HOA024: THE TRAX’, a collaborative effort with MoMA Ready.
