Premiere: dogheadsurigeri ‘Hyperdrive’

Premiere: dogheadsurigeri ‘Hyperdrive’

dogheadsurigeri will self-release a new single, ‘Hyperdrive’, later this week. Have an exclusive first listen below.

Tapping into the same hard-edged club sound as her recent DJ sets, which combine techno, trance and gabber, the Warsaw-born, London-based producer emerges with her dizzying second single and the successor to January’s ‘Fluid Matter’. Out tomorrow (31st July), ‘Hyperdrive’ injects dogheadsurigeri’s powerful broken beats with the otherworldly textures of ’00s trance for a steamy club workout.

To maximise impact, the single has been road tested on the sweat-soaked dancefloors of Warsaw, London and Berlin – where dogheadsurigeri (aka Paulina Trzeciak) lovingly divides her time.

“I’m exploring the euphoric side of trance on this one!,” Trzeciak shared on the single. “My friend Kai said – ‘I love this! It feels like it’s bridging your 2006 trance vibes with your hard kick terror energy’. I hope you all like it as well.”

Catch her DJing at Corsica Studios later this summer for Rhythm Labs’ 5th Birthday, alongside fellow hard house purveyors STÜM, Janis Zielinski and Ollie Lishman. Tickets to the event, taking place Saturday, 19th October, are available here.

‘Hyperdrive’ is landing via self-release later this week. Pre-save the single here, and have an exclusive first listen below.
