Parris announces new EP, shares ‘why can’t rabbits wear cowboy boots’: Listen

Parris has announced a new four-track EP. Listen to its lead single ‘why can’t rabbits wear cowboy boots’ below.

On 22nd March, the London-based DJ and producer will release the ‘Passionfruit’ EP via can you feel the sun, the imprint he co-runs with recent DJ Mag cover artist Call Super.

The follow-up to his 2021 debut album, ‘Soaked In Indigo Moonlight’ and 2022 two-tracker ‘South Of South West Waves / Dreaming Of Sunflowers’, ‘Passionfruit’ is an ode to the artist’s “first love”: UK soundsystems.

In an Instagram post, which you can read in full below, Parris said the first single is “dedicated to a big reece bassline, sampling simlish from Whatsapp voice notes and most importantly asking the most important questions in life which we ask each other in the very early (or late) hours.”

Stream it below and pre-order the EP via Bandcamp.

From 2020, revisit Parris On Cue mix and interview.
