Orbital release ‘Chime’ limited edition vinyl remaster

Orbital have released a remastered edition of their 1989 EP ‘Chime / Deeper’.

Limited to 1000 copies, the 12-inch vinyl release comes with new artwork by graphic designer Julian House. It’s the first in a string of upcoming vinyl reissues of the UK duo’s early EPs, dubbed ‘Orbital LEDs’ (Limited Edition Drops).

They’ve also released an exclusive T-shirt, which will be available for one week only. Both the record and T-shirt can be ordered via Orbital’s online store.

In January, Orbital announced they were also reissuing their 1991 debut ‘The Green Album’, ahead of an upcoming tour highlighting their first two self-titled LPs.

Earlier in the month, Orbital shared a new version of their classic 1991 track, ‘Belfast’. Mixed by DJ Helen and based on David Holmes’ remix of the track, the new version features spoken vocals by Manchester-based street poet, Mike Garry.
