New club, Amber’s, to open in Manchester

Manchester is getting a new 1000-capacity club.

Helmed by fabric and Rinse FM resident Hutch, Un.titled Studio co-director Sam Tunstall, and Nothing Forced creative agency founders Jeremy and Lawrence Abbott, Amber’s is located on the city’s Oxford Road and split across two rooms, with both live and club events from local, national and international names on the agenda.

Season One of Saturdays at Amber’s promises sets from some of “the world’s best DJs” with tickets costing just £5 in advance. “Every week the DJs will be unannounced, with artists playing under the radar and revealed post-event,” the club explained in a press release.

“At Amber’s we want the music, sound and vibe to be the reason you come back. We aim to bring some of the best artists in the world to our club, to play at an affordable price point, with the focus on brilliant music and sound, every single week,” said Hutch aka James Hutchins.

He added: “We’re totally aware of the climate at the moment when it comes to nightclubs and venues in trouble, so we aim to foster an environment where promoters, artists and attendees can thrive and grow together.”

The no-photos venue will inaugurate its arrival with a launch party on Thursday 5th December and officially open its doors that Friday, with the line-up still to be announced. It also features a full L-Acoustics sound system and an in-house welfare team to ensure the safety and wellbeing of attendees.

You can pick up tickets for Saturday’s at Amber’s from Friday November 1st at 10am. Pre-sale access will be open 24 hours earlier via the Amber’s site here.
