Mochakk Calling Festival announced for Malta

Mochakk is hosting an edition of his flagship Mochakk Calling event in Malta.

Bonobo, Desiree, Seth Troxler, DJ Swisha, Honey Dijon, Mall Grab and Dixon are among the artists booked for the two-day Mochakk Calling Festival, which will take place on the Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th of July at open-air venue Ta’ Qali near Attard and Mosta.

The Brazilian DJ and producer, real name Pedro Maia, has also invited Badsista, Chaos in the CBD, HAAI, and Todd Terje to play the 5,000-capacity event.

Mochakk will also be taking his Mochakk Calling event — which has taken place in Paris, Lisbon, Amsterdam, and New York City — to London for an event at the O2 Academy Brixton on 28th June. Pick up tickets here.

Mochakk made his Ninja Tune debut earlier this year with the ‘From The Stars’ EP, featuring a recent staple of his DJ sets and a track sampling an ’80s disco song.

Last year, Mochakk opened the club OBLIQO in his Brazilian hometown of Sorocaba. That July, he also released the EP ‘Locomotiva Ibiza 2099’ through CircoLoco Records.
