Mina launches funding advice and support platform for creatives

Mina has launched a new platform aimed at helping artists with funding applications

On Tuesday, 15th February, the South London-based producer and DJ launched Funding with Mina, a new service that offers advice and support with funding applications for creatives, as well as up-to-date information on funding opportunities.

It’s a practice that Mina began during the pandemic. At the end of 2021, she revealed that over the course of the year she had helped artists write successful funding applications totalling over £100,000. Mina revealed more about her work in helping creatives apply for grants in her recent DJ Mag Recognise interview.

In 2019, the DJ and producer released her debut album, ‘Flight Paths’: named after 18 months spent travelling the world, and connecting underground UK sounds with global club rhythms. Across 12 tracks, Mina worked with 12 artists, including LYZZA, Amaarae and New York FDM producer Epic B.
