KAM-BU shares new single, ‘Bring Me Up’: Listen

KAM-BU has dropped a new single, ‘Bring Me Up’. Check it out below

Out via the DnB All Stars imprint, ‘Bring Me Up’ stays true to KAM-BU’s sound-system-influenced style, layering drum & bass-influenced instrumentation over poignant lyricism.

The new track follows his recent collaborative release with Jeshi, ‘In the Wind’, which was produced by FREDWAVE and dropped in March along with an accompanying music video

Last year, the UK rapper also released his latest EP, ‘BUILT 2 LAST’, via OFF GRID, marking his first project since the end of 2020. He was also nominated for Best MC/Vocalist at DJ Mag’s Best of British Awards back in 2021.

Announcing the release, the South London rapper posted on Instagram: “So so so happy to have released this one, feel like I’m putting something out that represents how I truly feel rn….anyway enjoy.”

Revisit DJ Mag’s long read on KAM-BU, which delves into his political and social change activism, as well as his influence in the UK Rap scene, here.
