Joy Orbison drops new track, 'pinky ring': Listen

Joy Orbison has unveiled a brand new track, called ‘pinky ring’.

The track sees the UK producer nod back towards the dancefloor following last year’s ‘still slipping vol. 1’ mixtape (named winner of Best Album at last year’s DJ Mag Best Of British awards) and a series of more experimentally minded EPs.

The release of the single follows the unveiling late last year of another standalone cut, ‘red velve7’, which ‘pinky ring’ is billed as a companion to. You can listen to the new track below.

Its release comes ahead of Joy Orbison’s forthcoming still slipping event at London’s Ministry Of Sound on 3rd April, which will see him link up with Japan-based streetwear brand Cav Empt to present a line-up that includes Tia Cousins, Rosa Pistola, Felix Hall, Lady Passion, Geeneus with Tippa, and Joy Orbison himself.

Earlier this year, he also launched his own semi-regular London party, Just For You, at a Soho basement space.
