In an Instagram post, the Bolton DJ and producer real name – real name Zach Bruce – revealed that they wrote the track on 1st January 2024, “after a long dry hiatus.”

He added, “I was so inspired by the driving kicks and fun, sassy melodies surrounding them, blew my mind – everything fell into place the day after.”

Check out the Instagram post about their collaboration below.

Released via Room Two Recordings, the single arrives three months after Interplanetary Criminal’s collaboration with London rapper Blanco on ‘Races‘. Speaking about the single at the time, he said, “I wanted to pay homage to the early ’00s darker side of 2-step garage and encapsulate the atmosphere of Manchester’s colder history of bass music.”

Interplanetary Criminal’s rise over the last few years includes a UK No.1 one single in ‘B.O.T.A.’ alongside Eliza Rose, sold-out headline tours across the UK, and several Boiler Room sets.

Last year, he also curated a compilation showcasing the best of new UK garage for the legendary label Locked On Records. Revisit it here.
