Homobloc announces Róisín Murphy, Honey Dijon, I. JORDAN, more for Depot Mayfield party

Homobloc, the LGBTQ+-focused marathon party from promoter Homoelectric, is returning to Manchester’s Depot Mayfield venue for its third year this November.

The 14-hour party, scheduled for 5th November, will once again welcome a number of big name live acts and DJs to play the Manchester venue, with the likes of Róisín Murphy, Honey Dijon and I. JORDAN all featuring on the line-up.

Also confirmed to play are The Blessed Madonna, HAAi, Saoirse, Job Jobse, Horse Meat Disco, Roi Perez and Tama Sumo, among many others. There will be b2b DJ sets from Moxie and Shanti Celeste, and Jennifer Cardini and Krystal Klear.

The event will spread out across four spaces within Depot Mayfield’s vast location, while Homobloc will also this year work alongside the charities LGBT Foundation, The Proud Trust, George House Trust and Greater Manchester LGBTQ+ Community Fund.

Commenting on this year’s event, Homobloc’s Rod Connolly said: “We are excited to announce a powerful Homobloc festival programme that unites the biggest international and homegrown LGBTQ+ artists, with a clear spotlight on the wonderfully diverse nightlife community that Manchester is world famous for. Following a challenging year for LGBTQ+ rights, the time is now for everyone to come together, step into the light and recharge the city’s vibrant queer energy once more.”

Depot Mayfield will also host this year’s The Warehouse Project season as ever, and the first parties for the 2022 series of shows were announced in May.
