Fever Ray shares new single and video, ‘I’m Not Done (Therapy Session)’: Watch
Fever Ray has just released a new single, ‘I’m Not Done (Therapy Session)’. Watch the music video, directed by Martin Falck, below.
For the circling group therapy session clip, Karin Dreijer brings back their previous music video characters Romance, Main, Snusi and Demona Lisa to sit with cognitive behavioural therapist Ebba, played by Andie Pirata Stendin. (Anna Arnbom and Stina Dreijer also perform as body doubles.) The track is a new, “revamped” version of ‘I’m Not Done’ from the 2009 self-titled debut Fever Ray album. A second part of this peculiar therapy session will be released on 8th July.
The following quote from the character of Ebba accompanies the music video: “After following these troubled characters, I knew something had to be done and with my Human Improvement Diploma, Mindset and Performance Boosting certificate I was the right person for the cause. I convinced the Swedish government that it would cost less tax money to teach these undeveloped people some basic skills than to set them free. It was a win-win. Turn sadness into gratefulness! Why walk in circles when you can follow a straight line?”
Earlier this year, Fever Ray collaborated with Röyksopp and Trentemøller on an updated version of the ‘What Else Is There?‘ single. Fever Ray’s last LP was 2023’s ‘Radical Romantics‘, which got a number of remixes by the likes of Avalon Emerson, Logic1000, Nifra, DJ HARAM, Equiknoxx, God Colony, Ivory and LSDXOXO.
