DJ Mag’s top mixes of 2024

This year, DJ Mag has had the pleasure of hosting mixes, HQ sessions and live streams from around the world on our various channels.

On Soundcloud, our Recognise series welcomed 16 mixes from the likes of Karen Nyame KG, IMANU, Regal86, DJ Danifox and re:ni, while the On Cue series saw the likes DJ Nobu, Marcia Carr, Cormac, Jeremy Sylvester and Youngsta step up. Meanwhile, our Fresh Kicks series shone a light on 14 emerging stars, including Silva Bumpa, Akanbi, RONI, Hassan Abou Alam and eoin dj.

Over on our YouTube channel, we’ve had some incredible live DJ sessions from our London HQ this year, including sets from Adiel, SBTRKT, Oppidan, Bakey, Miss Monique, Charlie Sparks, Lady Shaka, Patrick Mason and more. On top of that, there have been incredible live streamed sets from the likes of Uncle Waffles, Barry Can’t Swim, 4Rain, TSHA, Nicole Moudaber, Enzo Siragusa, Paul Kalkbrenner, Dimension and others. 

In short, it’s been a big year! But outside of our own content, we’ve been as blown away as ever by the breadth and range of mixes and live sets we heard from across the global electronic music landscape. Below, we’ve compiled just 35 of our favourite mixes from 2024, offering an unranked overview of some of the sounds that made the year so memorable for electronic music.
