Cinthie announces !K7 DJ-Kicks mix, shares new track: Listen

Cinthie is the latest DJ to contribute to !K7’s critically lauded DJ-Kicks mix series, with the next instalment set to arrive on Friday 1st April.

The Berlin-based selector, whose own debut album landed in 2020 on Aus Music, has played a central role in the European house scene for years, between running record stores and managing labels like 803 Crystal Grooves, to club residencies across the German capital and bookings from London to Tokyo.

“DJ-Kicks is a milestone in every artist’s career… When putting my track list together, I wanted to make sure to shine a light on my old heroes as well as the new kids in the game,” said Cinthie. “Staying true to myself with my DJ-Kicks and highlighting my absolute fave producers at the moment, most of them I call friends and they are working really hard and are very loved and well known, especially in our circle of the music scene.

“I hope the listeners will enjoy their music as much as I do. Taking the listeners on a journey through house music was my main goal for my DJ-Kicks. Showing them all sides of house music. From deep to Detroit, from banging to smooth, from jazzy to stomping, from disco to Chicago, from dubby to big room,” she continued.

The tracklist reflects this, with names like Terrence Parker, the late-Paul Johnson, Logic 1000, Anna Wall, Amir Alexander and Boo Williams all featured. An exclusive new track by Cinthie is also included, alongside global producers like Tokyo’s Shinichiro Yokota and Colombian artist Felipe Gordon.
