Carl Cox shares remix of HoneyLuv & Roland Clark’s ‘This Is My Life’: Listen

Carl Cox will release a remix of HoneyLuv & Roland Clark’s ‘This Is My Life’ later this week. Have an exclusive first listen below.

Following two sell-out nights at NYC’s Brooklyn Mirage last weekend, the British veteran lands on Danny Howard’s Nothing Else Matters imprint with a stomping re-work of HoneyLuv and Roland Clark’s recent single, ‘This Is My Life’. Combining his renowned signature grooves with acid-inflected basslines and jacking percussion, Cox puts his trademark spin on a new-gen clubland classic just in time for summer.

Released originally back in February, ‘This Is My Life’ exudes the uplifting energy and 90s-inspired house stylings that put Cleveland-born HoneyLuv on the map, paired with the rousing incantations of US producer and songsmith, Roland Clark. The single was accompanied by a drum-focused remix from Bontan, ahead of Carl Cox’s official rework landing this week (23rd May).

Last month, Cox dropped a new album mix comprised exclusively of tracks from his Awesome Soundwave label. Featured artists include Digital Afrika, Robert Babicz, Klauss Tejger, Hybrasil, Saytek and more.

‘This Is My Life (Carl Cox Remix)’ is out 24th May via Nothing Else Matters. Pre-save the remix here, and have an exclusive first listen below.

Cox was also awarded DJ Mag’s Outstanding Contribution Award in DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll 2023.
