Amnesia Ibiza announces closing party for summer 2021 season

News

Ibiza club Amnesia has announced its closing party for the 2021 season, set to take place on 23rd October.

The announcement comes just days after Spanish Tourism Minister Reyes Maroto said the country plans to incorporate vaccine passports into its safe travel protocol, which may allow tourists to travel to the country and its surrounding islands this summer. These developments, plus news of clubs potentially reopening in June and COVID-19 restrictions being gradually eased in the UK and Europe, have stirred a sense of optimism for those looking for music events and festivals this summer.

Amnesia is the first Ibiza superclub to confirm that it plans to host events this year, and has opted to announce its season of parties in reverse order as a precautionary measure. The club said in an official announcement that it is “presenting the end but leaving the start open”.

No further details have been shared about the closing event, but Amnesia has stated that it will feature “all the world renowned superstars you would expect” and that it will go on for 24 hours.

The club has also stated that capacity for all events will be significantly reduced this year, and encourages those who wish to go to purchase Early Bird tickets.
