Afrodeutsche announces new weekly show on BBC Radio 6 Music

Afrodeutsche will kick off a new weekly show for BBC Radio 6 Music in October.
Launching on 29th October, The People’s Party With Afrodeutsche will air every Friday from 7pm until 9pm. On each show, one listener will be asked to name their dream warm-up act, headliner and afterhours track, which will then form the basis for the two hours.
“From its launch way back when, BBC Radio 6 Music has been a mainstay for me, always playing in the background, delivering everything I needed musically, like a very interesting old friend who loves a good chat,” said Afrodeutsche. “I literally cannot wait to welcome you all to the new show.”
In addition to starting her 6 Music show, Afrodeutsche will also next month put out a new track as part of Tresor’s 30th anniversary compilation.
