Premiere: Cameo Blush ‘4 Me’

Cameo Blush will release a new EP on Future Classic later this week, ‘Just Concentrate’. Have an exclusive first listen to ‘4 Me’ below.

Since bursting onto the scene in 2019 with his debut on Nick Höppner’s Touch From A Distance imprint, London-based John Dunk, aka Cameo Blush, has been fastening a gleaming, rave-friendly sound that pulls from IDM, house, tech, trance and more. Inspired by an imaginary radio station, and featuring audio drops from an AI host, his new EP for Future Classic, ‘Just Concentrate’, takes a similarly uninhibited approach, winding from jazzy and warming on cuts like ‘All In Good Time’ into more pacy, peak-time zones on ‘4 Me’ and the stellar title track.

The cuts on ‘Just Concentrate’ have been tried and tested on Cameo Blush’s Rinse FM show, a monthly celebration of “euphoric experimental and floating dancefloor highs”. It follows up his January single for unknown – uncovered, ‘Z’, which he described as “a turning point in [his] production”, and a high-profile contribution to DJ Boring’s DJ-Kicks mix

Catch the London-based artist performing at The Hydra x Bicep’s Drumsheds event later this year, alongside Call Super, Pariah, DJ Stingray 313, Saoirse, Batu, Anz, Pangaea and more. Tickets are available here.

‘Just Concentrate’ is out 1st November via Future Classic. Pre-save the EP here, and have an exclusive first listen to ‘4 Me’ below.
