Glastonbury’s Shangri-La announces virtual festival with Carl Cox, ANNA, Fatboy Slim, more
News
Glastonbury’s Shangri-La arena has announced a virtual festival, Lost Horizon.
The arena, which would have been returning to Glastonbury this year from the 24th to the 28th June, will now host their festival space virtually, following the COVID-19 outbreak and subsequent cancellation of Glastonbury’s 50th anniversary festival.
More than 50 acts will perform at Shangri-La’s virtual Lost Horizon festival, including Gas Tower headliners in the form of ANNA, Carl Cox, and Fatboy Slim, and the arena will be rendered in a videogame-like 3D landscape for fans to enjoy at home. There will also be a VR option available for the event, which features over 200 visual art pieces.
The event will take place on the 3rd and 4th of July, with other performances coming from Jamie Jones, and Seth Troxler, as well as Eats Everything, Jaguar, and Pete Tong.
