Tirzah releases new remix album, ‘Highgrade’, with Loraine James, Actress, Arca, more

Tirzah has released a new remix album, ‘Highgrade’.

A month on from dropping new single ‘Ribs’, the London-based singer, musician and producer unveiled the release on June 17th. Comprising remixes by the likes of Loraine James, Actress, Arca, Wu-Lu, Lafawndah and more, it’s a full reworking of the ten tracks of her acclaimed 2021 LP, ‘Colourgrade’. Made in collaboration with Mica Levi and Coby Sey, it was one of DJ Mag’s top albums of last year.

Speaking about ‘Highgrade,’ which spans minimal electronic, orchestral jazz and deconstructed R&B, Tirzah said: “The pieces can live another life and come together as a collection of hybrids. So very grateful to all the artists. Thanking them all for the music.”

Released via Domino, ‘Highgrade’ is available to buy digitally, and to pre-order on standard double vinyl ahead of its release on September 23rd, here. A green-coloured double vinyl version is also available via Bleep. Stream the album below.
