Emerging Swiss artist Wassay is making waves with his newest release, ‘Embrace’.

T.H.E: Welcome to T.H.E – Music Essentials, Wassay! How’s the start of Winter going in Switzerland?
Wassay: Hey there, thanks for the interview 😄 Winter has just arrived this week. Got my first time blocked in the studio due to snow 😆.
All About ‘Embrace’
T.H.E: Congratulations on the release of ‘Embrace’. When did you begin production on the single?
Wassay: Thanks! This track really took me a while. The first demo is from early March 2024. It started as something deeper, but a few days later, I decided to give it more energy, and this was the result.
Describing His Unique Sound
T.H.E: How would you describe your sound to our readers?
Wassay: A powerful and groovy house track that brings you back to the ’90s. My objective was to produce something with a retro feeling but modern sounds.
Wassay’s DJ Highlights
T.H.E: With you also DJ’ing across Switzerland, what recent events have stood out most for you?
Wassay: I’m currently focusing on production, so I don’t take many gigs in Switzerland because House Music isn’t the main style here. My last big night was at the MAD Club in June with Jenn Getz & Alfie.
What’s Next for ‘Embrace’?
T.H.E: Are there any plans for remixes of ‘Embrace’ to follow?
Wassay: Not actually, but I’m always open if anyone asks me 🙃.
