Mochakk announces Hollywood Boulevard Takeover with all-Brazilian line-up

Mochakk has announced a takeover of Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles. The event will take place on 15th November.

Support will come from fellow Brazilian electronic music artists Beltran and Maz. This will be the headliner’s biggest show to date in the City of Angels, and follows a host of high profile US parties this year. These have included nearby Venice Beach for a Tricks & Tracks skatepark pop-up, as well as events in New York, Miami, and Chicago.

“The Hollywood Boulevard is legendary — to be able to perform there feels like a huge step, not just for my career but personally,” Mochakk said of the party. “My fans in the US have been incredible, and this moment feels like a celebration of all the hard work and passion that’s brought me here. I would never have dreamed about playing at such a sick location and I can’t wait to play this show.”

Pre-sale goes live Friday 18th August at 10AM PT. Public sale then begins at 12PM PT the same day.

This year, the artist — real name Pedro Maia — has seen his status rocket with a residency at CircoLoco in Ibiza, and sets at festivals including Coachella, Glastonbury, and Cercle. He also launched his own event series, Mochakk Calling, selling out venues in Lisbon, Miami, São Paulo and Malta in the process.

In February, Mochakk shared a new EP on Ninja Tune, ‘From The Stars‘.  He will now follow this up with his debut for Disorder Records, ‘Legumes feat. KWENGFACE’, which lands next Friday 22nd August. This weekend, he plays Panorama festival in Southern Italy alongside Peggy Gou, Black Coffee, Solomun, Damian Lazarus and more.
