Festive Vibes and Studio Time

T.H.E – Welcome, STVN LEON! How has the festive season been for you?

STVN LEON – “Thanks for having me! The past few weeks have been hectic but amazing—good food, great people, and incredible music! A perfect way to bring in the New Year!”

The Birth of Voices EP

T.H.E – When did production on the Voices EP begin?

STVN LEON – “I started working on the title track ‘Voices’ in the summer of 2024, inspired by the energy of several music festivals I attended. I wanted to create something geared toward club bangers. Shortly after, ‘In My Mind’ came to life as the perfect complement.”

T.H.E – How would you describe your sound in three words?

STVN LEON – “Groovy, energetic, and timeless.”

The Chicago Influence

T.H.E – How has Chicago’s dynamic music scene influenced your sound?

STVN LEON – “Chicago has been a huge influence. The city is buzzing with talent, amazing venues, and festivals. After attending countless events, the house scene here won me over, leading me to focus more on house-oriented tracks.”

Support from Industry Titans

T.H.E – You’ve seen support from big names like Marshmello and Don Diablo. Which other artists inspire you?

STVN LEON – “It’s incredible to have their support—I’m so grateful. Artists like Avicii, Kaskade, Hardwell, and KSHMR have always inspired me. They’re fearless in pushing boundaries, which is a trait I admire. Staying outside your comfort zone is what keeps you relevant.”

What’s Next for Voices?

T.H.E – Are there plans for remixes of the Voices EP?

STVN LEON – “Not at the moment, but I’m definitely open to the idea!”

Advice for Aspiring Artists

T.H.E – What advice would you offer to aspiring producers?

STVN LEON – “Trust your gut and work hard—consistency is key. The 10,000-hour rule is real. Be patient with yourself because mastering music production takes years of practice. The best feeling is seeing the results of your hard work pay off when you create something truly special.”

STVN LEON’s Voices EP reflects his dedication to crafting groovy, club-ready tracks while paying homage to his Chicago roots. What do you think of his new release?
