George Riley announces new project, ‘More Is More’, shares single and video: Watch
George Riley has announced a new project, ‘More Is More’. You can check the first single, ‘More’, and its video below.
The track is accompanied by a video from Iris Luz. The director has previously worked with the likes of Hudson Mohawke, Wet Leg, and Oklou.
Part-commentary on hyper-consumerism, luxe culture and overspending, part broken jungle-pop workout heavily influenced by the genre’s formative sounds, Riley’s latest was born from a “headspace of abundance” and aims to address “how these things can set women on a dark path”.
The full 11-track project lands on 12th September and takes the idea further, touching on phenomena like the re-emergence of far right conservatism, the ‘tradwife boom’ and OnlyFans influencers. A strong list of collaborators are involved, with credits for Mura Masa, Bok Bok, JD Reid, PinkPatheress and phil.
Last month, Riley appeared on the latest track from Logic1000, ‘i couldn’t hold back‘.
