DJ 5 Day Forecast Shares Thoughts On Recent Success Of “Baby I’m Good”
Versatile and multi-talented producer 5 Day Forecast has had great success with his most recent single “Baby I’m Good.” The open-format DJ is blown away by the positive feedback he’s received so far. The club hit follows the debut “To The Edge” and is accompanied by a music video that can pump up any dull crowd.
Speaking of “Baby I’m Good,” 5 Day Forecast reveals that he was “inspired by some personal experiences I’ve had where I’ve gone through some tough breakups and had to keep telling myself that I’ll be okay even though my emotions weren’t aligning to that thought.” He also says that the visuals bring “another layer to the song. I really wanted the video to tell the story about how a guy and girl try to find happiness and independence post breakup and think it came out awesome!
Being a music enthusiast, 5 Day Forecast admits that he loves incorporating different genre elements into his music. For “Baby I’m Good” he took inspiration from James Hype’s “Ferrari.” The multi-genre musician explains, “being a huge fan of rock, I really wanted to utilize a guitar and am thrilled with how it came out. You always want to respect the originals and at the same time you want to give it some life and make it fresh and put your stamp on it.”
DJ 5 Day Forecast continues to find ways to enhance his brand. Following the success of “Baby I’m Good,” the producer has belted a collaboration with the popular liquor brand Tequila 512, “My brand and Tequila 512 share a lot of similarities so it was a no brainer. We both have the number 5 in our names, my birthday is Cinco de mayo, both brands are relatively new and both brands share an overall chill/fun vibe to them.”
