Wisdom Teeth announces new compilation exploring minimal-, micro- and tech-house, ‘Pattern Gardening’
Wisdom Teeth has curated another compilation focused on specific sounds and styles, this time highlighting minimal-, micro- and tech-house. Listen to the first singles by rRoxymore and Jichael Mackson below.
‘Pattern Gardening’, set for release on 25th April, features 22 new and original commissions from the London label’s roster of friends and family, like label heads Facta and K-LONE, as well as new connections, all inspired by aughts institutions Perlon, Mosaic, Minibar and [a:rpia:r].
Contributors include Piezo, Daisy Moon, Lurka, Sub Basics, Tom Ellis, Polygonia, Iglew, Shielding, Loop LF and Brainrot, aka 2Lanes, Ciel and Ryan Spencer. The LP features photography by Hong Kong-based photographer Jimi Chiu.
Wisdom Teeth’s previous specialised compilations include last year’s ‘Club Moss‘ (tracks 150-170 BPM) and 2022’s ‘To Illustrate‘ (music under 100 BPM).
Last October, Wisdom Teeth released Human Pitch co-founder Tristan Arp’s ‘a pool, a portal‘ album.
