Black Artist Database releases ‘Synergy 3’ compilation: Listen

Black Artist Database has released the third instalment in its ‘Synergy’ compilation series.

Spanning 11 tracks, the collection takes in new cuts from the likes of Parris, Tim Reaper, James Bangura, Joe Milli, Mafou and Mukuna, among others, including label founder NIKS. Its tracks cover UK garage, broken techno, jungle and stripped-back house music.

For DJ Mag, Akili Viveca Lee described the compilation as “atmospheric, rhythm-forward, and often introspective as opposed to peak-time” while praising praising B.A.D. for continuing “to push the possibilities of contemporary club sounds”. Read the review here. 

‘Synergy Vol. 3’ follows the release in April 2024 of the second instalment in the series.
