A new documentary charting the rise of Jersey Club has been released. You can watch it in full below.

Presented by Soundfields PBS, the 15-minute film looks at the artists, dancers, origins and developments of the East Coast US genre, and touches on key issues in the scene such as gender representation.

An accompanying text for the doc reads: “This genre isn’t just music – it’s life, energy, and community, creating a safe space for the young people of New Jersey.”

The doc features insights from the likes of DJ Tameil and the Queen of Jersey Club, UNIIQU3, who recently featured in DJ Mag’s Recognise mix series.
