Uncle Waffles shares ‘Zenzele’ video: Watch

Uncle Waffles‘ latest single ‘Zenzele’, with Royal Musiq, CowBoii, Xduppy and Uncool MC, has a new music video. Watch the clip below.

The South African amapiano star led the creative direction for the video, directed by filmmaker Kmane. In addition to each of the collaborators, it features an ensemble of amapiano dancers performing choreography by Lee-ché “Litchi” Janecke

“With this video, we wanted to capture the playful tension that comes with dancing to Amapiano and merge it with music videos I grew up watching”, Uncle Waffles said in a press statement. “This sentiment pulses through every frame of the newly released visual, where music, movement and community collide in an electrifying celebration of Amapiano culture. More than a traditional music video, ‘Zenzele’ becomes a cinematic expression of identity, rhythm and togetherness, anchored by the infectious choreography that has sparked a global dance phenomenon.”

Uncle Waffles first released ‘Zenzele’ in December 2024 on the ‘4 Da Ho’s‘ EP. That same year, she released two versions of ‘Wadibusa’, one with Royal Musiq, OHP Sage and Pcee and another that added Joey Bada$$

This past New Year’s Eve, Uncle Waffles performed at The Cause alongside Björk, Skepta, NAINA and Tim Sweeney as part of Apple Music Club’s holiday special. She also headlined DJ Mag’s Art Basel event in Miami in November 2024.
