Ultra Music Festival announces Resistance line-up for 2022

News

Ultra Music Festival (UMF) has unveiled the line-up for Resistance next year.

Returning to Bayfront Park in Miami across 25-27th March 2022, UMF’s underground brand will feature a host of house and techno DJs including Adam Beyer, ANNA, Carl Cox, Amelie Lens, Nina Kraviz, Sasha b2b John Digweed, and more. Check out the full line-up below.

The news comes a month after Ultra announced the likes of David Guetta, Alison Wonderland, and Pendulum to play its flagship Miami weekend next year.

The festival’s return will come three years after the 2019 debut of Resistance Island. According to organisers, next year’s new format and revamped festival layout are “customized specifically to Bayfront Park”. Go here to buy tickets.

Last year, plans for Resistance Island – and UMF generally – was cancelled due to the onset of COVID-19. It was of the first major U.S. music festivals to be cancelled due to the pandemic.

Ultra Music Festival 2022 will mark its return to Bayfront Park for the first time since 2018, having reached a historic agreement with the Downtown Neighbors Alliance (DNA), a residents’ organisation representing 13 apartment blocks in central Miami. The three-day spectacular was forced to relocate to Virginia Key in 2019 as a result of noise pollution and public nuisance complaints.
