Ukrainian label Muscut releases fundraising compilation

Ukrainian label Muscut has released a fundraising compilation to support those affected by Russia’s current invasion of the country.

The 17-track ‘Fundraiser compilation: ВОЛЯ’ features contributions from Ukrainian artists including Kavkazka Sound, Radiant Futur, Mlin Patz, Gennadiy Boychenko, and more.

“100% of the label sales are donated to the ‘Razom’ initiative’s partners and our friends-volunteers who are fighting back the occupier in different Ukrainian cities,” said the label.

Muscut and its sub label Shukai also recently announced that they will donate 100% of revenue spent on their Bandcamp pages to the Savelife organisation for the foreseeable future.

The international music community has come together in support for Ukraine in various ways since the attack on 24th February, with numerous fundraising compilations released and events organised. Last week, a new fundraising initiative called Underground4Ukraine was launched to support Ukraine to ‘unite the underground against war’.

There’s also an open-source spreadsheet designed to help people buy music directly from, and offer support to, Ukrainian musicians and record labels.
