TYGAPAW announces new album, ‘love has never been a popular movement.’, shares single: Listen

TYGAPAW has announced the release of their new album, ‘love has never been a popular movement.’. You can listen to the new single, ‘GLAMOUR Riddim’, which features vocals from UK R&B singer George Riley, below. 

The forthcoming LP, which lands on 21st April via fabric Originals, also features previously released tunes ‘MYSM’ and ‘PRESSURE’. You can pre-order the album now

The release follows the Brooklyn-based Jamaican artist’s debut long player, ‘GET FREE’, which landed in 2020 to widespread acclaim. Revisit DJ Mag North America’s 2022 cover interview with TYGAPAW here

Coinciding with the new single, TYGAPAW will play three days in Portugal and Spain in the coming days. Shows begin at Lisbon’s Lux Fragil (23/3) and Barcelona’s Nitsa (24/3), before heading to Mondo Disko in Madrid (25/3).

This summer, they will play Germany’s Melt Festival (8/6), Secret Garden Party in the UK (23/7), and French five-dayer Cabaret Vert (16/8). TYGAPAW was also announced as one of London club Colour Factory’s new residents for 2023, and will host three parties in the venue through the year.
