The Chemical Brothers’ Tom Rowlands shares new double A-side single on Phantasy Sound: Listen
The Chemical Brothers’ Tom Rowlands has shared a new solo double A-side single.
Spanning two tracks, ‘We Are Nothing / All Night’ is out now via Phantasy. It marks his first solo release of club-focused material since his last appearance on the label in 2013.
The two tracks have been fixtures of Rowlands’ DJ sets as part of The Chemical Brothers, with ‘We Are Nothing’ exploring psychedelia and house music, and featuring words from Canadian poet Bill Bissett. The second of the tracks, ‘All Night’, raises the tempo and draws on broken beats.
You can listen to both new cuts below.
Rowlands is set to DJ at the Stonebridge Bar at this year’s Glastonbury, on Saturday, 27th June.
He also recently soundtracked an eight-part drama series on Italian fascist dictator Benito Mussolini.
