The Alchemist has released a new EP called ‘Flying High’. Watch the video for ‘RIP Tracy’, featuring Earl Sweatshirt and billy woods below.

The LA producer’s new record features eight tracks in two parts. The first half features collaborations with Earl Sweatshirt and billy woods, T.F and Boldy James, Larry June and Jay Worthy, and MIKE and Sideshow. The second part is made up of instrumental versions of the four cuts.

That split is a favourite format of The Alchemist, who has previously featured it on 2018 EPs ‘Lunch Meat’ and ‘Bread’, and 2021’s ‘This Thing Of Ours’ and ‘This Thing Of Ours Vol. 2’.

Since April, The Alchemist has dropped collaborative two LPs: first with Domo Genesis (‘No Idols‘), then with Larry June (‘The Great Escape‘) in June. Last month, Arielle Lana LeJarde spoke with the California artists about working together in a new interview.

Watch the video for ‘RIP Tracy’, directed by Joseph Mault, and listen to ‘Flying High’ below.
