Skrillex announced as special guest DJ at Porter Robinson’s Second Sky festival

Skrillex has been announced as the special guest DJ at Porter Robinson’s Second Sky festival this weekend.

Five months on from cancelling a couple of festival shows in order to focus on finishing his upcoming album, the DJ and producer will now replace Fred again.. on the bill after the UK artist was forced to cancel due to a scheduling conflict. Skrillex’s appearance at the annual Californian event marks his first festival performance of 2022.

Curated by Robinson, Second Sky was a quick sell-out in both 2019 and 2021. Set to take over Oakland Arena Grounds in Oakland on Saturday, 29th October, its third instalment will feature sets from Robinson himself, Hudson Mohawke and salute, RL Grime, Virtual Self b2b G Jones, Bladee, Magdalena Bay, and Kyary Pamyu Pamyu.

Tickets for Second Sky 2022 can be purchased here.

Last year, Skrillex teamed up with Justin Bieber and rapper Don Toliver for the collaborative track ‘Don’t Go’, which followed a string of other production projects with the likes of J Balvin, Four Tet and 100 Gecs’ Dylan Brady.
