Shaq and Myles O’Neal debut father-son duo, O’Neal Boyz, at Tomorrowland

Shaq, otherwise known as DJ DIESEL, has debuted a new double-act called the O’Neal Boyz alongside his son Myles O’Neal at Tomorrowland 2024.

The former NBA star and Myles, who DJs under his given name, announced the surprise pairing in an interview with Tomorrowland’s One World Radio just minutes before the set on the Rave Cave stage.

“We’ve got some special news,” Myles told host AdamK. “We’re debuting our duo, father-son duo.”

Myles went on to claim it was the first father-son duo performance in the space. “We’re making history,” he said.

Tomorrowland’s Rave Cave is a small stage built beneath the brick arch of a bridge. “We’re leaving here, going straight there,” Myles explained, before telling the seven-foot-one-inch-tall Shaq, who had never visited the stage before, that it was “going to be a surprise” for him.

In 2018, a venue in Atlantic City, USA reportedly had to rebuild its booth to fit Shaq in.

He released his debut DJ DIESEL album, ‘GORILLA WARFARE’, via Monstercat last summer.

DJ Mag is reporting live from Tomorrowland all weekend to celebrate 20 years of the World’s No. 1 festival. Follow #DJMagTomorrowland on Instagram for backstage interviews, photos and more.
