Seminal party FWD>> announces debut event at London’s FOLD

Seminal UK party FWD>> has announced its debut event at London’s FOLD on Friday 11th October. 

Running from 11PM until 6AM, Joker, Introspekt, V.I.V.E.K., re:ni, Plastician, Horsepower Productions, DAZLBØY, Crazy D and Alo3 are all due to play the seven-hour party. It’s the first event the crew have hosted in the UK capital since a takeover at Printworks in April 2023.

FWD>>’s roots can be traced back to 2001, when it launched at Velvet Rooms in London’s Soho. It later moved across town to the much-missed Plastic People, in Shoreditch, where it helped launch a number of high profile DJ and production careers.

The nights are considered a key incubator for a then-nascent dubstep scene, helping the sound take hold and evolve throughout the noughties and early-2010s. The events finished in 2016. Last year, FWD>> launched a new record label with a single from Slimzee, Boylan, and Riko Dan, titled ‘Mile End’.
