Roska announces new LP, 'Peace', shares single, 'Do Me Wrong ft Aleisha Lee, Jammz': Listen

Roska has shared details of his first album in four years, ‘Peace’.

His fourth album, and third for his own Roska Kicks & Snares label, comprises12 tracks, and features vocals from the likes of Flowdan, MC GQ, Serocee, Sweetie Irie and Dread MC. Aleisha Lee and Jammz also appear on a new single from the album, ‘Do Me Wrong’, which you can listen to below.

Speaking to Resident Advisor about the album and his collaborators, Roska said: “They are artists I’m fans of and appreciate as people beyond music. It’s an honour to have legends like Flowdan and Sweetie Irie. Also to have artists who don’t generally work on this tempo like Jammz and Emz.”

He also told RA that the album’s title, ‘Peace’, “came from embracing my style more as the years go on”.

One track on the record, the MC GQ-featuring ‘Kaboom!’ was originally released last year, while the title of another track on the record, ‘Heung-Min Son’, nods to Roska’s support of Tottenham Hotspur.

‘Peace’ will be released on 9th August. Stream ‘Do Me Wrong ft. Aleisha Lee, Jammz’ here, or check it via Bandcamp below.
