Hannah Laing releases new EP, ‘Into The Bounce’: Listen

Dundee-based DJ and producer Hannah Laing has released a new EP, ‘Into The Bounce’.

Billed as the first instalment of a trilogy of releases from the artist, the record features three tracks and includes contributions from Shlømo and Charlie Sparks. It’s described in a press release as a love letter to her lived experience of rave culture.

“Techno, Hard House and Trance are all massive influences for me,” Laing shared in a statement. “So I wanted to create a series of EPs that showcase what each of these genres means and sounds like to me. ‘Into The Bounce’ is the first. A bouncy, techno-inspired project with Charlie Sparks and Shlømo on the collabs and one solo track from me too.”

The release comes ahead of Laing’s self-curated Doof In The Park event, a 15,000-capacity festival which will take place in her hometown of Dublin. She’s also currently in the middle of a weekly residency at the World’s No. 1 club, Hï Ibiza, which sees her play the venue’s Club Room every Monday.
