Premiere: Sensu ‘Switch Up’

Premiere: Sensu ‘Switch Up’

Sensu will release the second single from her upcoming ‘Pieces’ EP later this week. Have an exclusive first listen to ‘Switch Up’ below.

On the follow-up to May’s ‘Freeze’, the Swiss DJ, producer and live artist pairs bold, bouncing breakbeats with pulsating rhythms and intense vocal chops for an emotive dancefloor slammer. The single – out 21st June – channels the same insatiable energy as her recent UK DJ sets alongside Tibasko, Model Man and Sonnee, and traverses a similar palette of wavy breaks, garage, jungle and more.

“When I created ‘Switch Up’, I was deeply inspired by jungle and jungle-influenced tracks,” Sensu told DJ Mag, “particularly in those powerful Reese basslines.”

The single lands amidst the colourful catalogue of independent London label, Attack Decay Sweet Release, alongside recent releases from the likes of Lawrence Hart, Sonnee & Benji Lewis, and more.

‘Switch Up’ is out 21st June on Attack Decay Sweet Release. Pre-save the single here, and have an exclusive first listen to the single below.
