Premiere: Hot Since 82 ‘Sonedo’

Premiere: Hot Since 82 ‘Sonedo’

Hot Since 82 will release two new tracks via Hot Creations later this week. Have an exclusive first listen to ‘Sonedo’ below.

With an inventory of bangers already under his belt in 2024, including a collaborative tune with Ron Carroll as part of Defected 25th anniversary celebrations (‘Preach’), and a late summer groover on his own Knee Deep In Sound imprint (‘Wild’), the Leeds-born producer returns with a new double offering of tech house heat. Landing tomorrow (26th July), ‘Sonedo’ boots off the project in a whirl of blissful, bass-driven grooves and bouncy percussion, before B-sider ‘Danzamae’ brings the main stage magic with whirling saxophone tones and a mid-track drop that will have dancers ascending.

The release sees Hot Since 82 – real name Daley Padley – join the ranks of Jamie Jones and Lee Foss’ prolific Hot Creations imprint, home to recent projects from Darius Syrossian, Mason Maynard & HoneyLuv, Beltran & Harvy Valencia, Deltech, Murphy’s Law, and loads more.

Catch Hot Since 82 performing at the upcoming fabric25 x Junction 2 event this Friday alongside Yotto, Henri Bergmann, Carina Lawrence and Jaden Thompson, whose recent single ‘Downtown’ was premiered by DJ Mag.

‘Sonedo’ is out 26th July via Hot Creations. Pre-save the EP here, and have an exclusive first listen to ‘Sonedo’ below.

Hot Since 82 cancelled a number of festival appearances in Brazil earlier this year following an attempted attack in Rio de Janeiro. The British DJ and producer explained that he was “lucky to be alive” after his vehicle was targeted by alleged gang members with guns.
