Premiere: DJ Deep Heat ‘Age Of Aquarius [Manami Remix]’

DJ Deep Heat will release a new EP, ‘Age Of Aquarius’, later this week on GODDEZZ. Have an exclusive first listen to ‘Age Of Aquarius [Manami Remix]’ below.

Following a run of floor-filling releases for the label, including 2023’s ‘Got 2 Hav It’ EP, the Sheffield native returns with his biggest and brightest project to date. Featuring four entrancing new cuts, alongside a roster of all star remixes, ‘Age Of Aquarius’ is tooled for maximum emotional effect on the dancefloor, pairing blissed-out breaks and speed garage with Deep Heat’s trademark trancey nostalgia.

Opener ‘2001’ drifts back to the dawn of the millennium, with heavily gated vocals and crashing wave samples, ahead of bubbling late-night roller ‘Age Of Aquarius’ and the punchy neo-trance of ‘WHY’. Don’t sleep on B-side ‘Hindsight’ either, it’s a proper sunset slowburn.

The remixes – which come from 1-800 Girls, Manami, Stone, DJ Fingerblast and ESP – are equally transportive, with each rising producer offering their own club-informed iteration of the DJ Deep Heat formula. Tokyo-born, London-based Manami chases her new six-track solo EP, ‘Dreaming Still’, as well as a collaborative project alongside Demi Riquísimo, with an eyes-down remix of the title track, featuring hard-synth work and fervorous breaksy rhythms folded into the OG mix’s celestial grooves.

To celebrate the EP release, DJ Deep Heat is hosting an ‘Age Of Aquarius’ release day party at Planet Wax, featuring sets from 1-800 Girls, Stone, Wigs b2b Body Clinic, Meg Paine and Goddezz. Free tickets to the event are available here.

‘Age Of Aquarius’ is out 2nd August via GODDEZZ. Pre-order the EP here, and have an exclusive first listen to ‘Age Of Aquarius [Manami Remix]’ below.
